Itinerary
🚐 Surabaya Pick-up
09:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Our team will meet you at Juanda International Airport or your hotel in Surabaya to begin the adventure.
🌊 Madakaripura Waterfall
12:00 PM: Arrive at Madakaripura. Take a thrilling motorbike shuttle to the trailhead, meet your local guide, and trek through the lush jungle canyon to witness the towering falls. (Total activity: approx. 3 hours).
👕 Refresh & Relax
03:00 PM: Return from the falls, enjoy a short rest, and change into dry clothes.
⛰️ Drive to Bromo Highlands
03:30 PM: Depart for the Bromo area. We can make an optional stop for lunch at a local restaurant (personal expense).
🏨 Guesthouse Check-in
05:00 PM: Estimated arrival at your Bromo guesthouse. Enjoy a free evening and an optional dinner before an early rest.
🚜 4WD Jeep Excursion
02:00 AM: Rise and shine! Board your private 4WD Jeep and head toward the sunrise viewpoints.
🌅 Golden Sunrise Witnessing
04:00 AM – 05:00 AM: Secure your spot at the viewpoint and watch the sun reveal the breathtaking "moon-like" landscape of Bromo.
📸 Widodaren & Crater Trek
06:00 AM – 07:30 AM: Descend to the caldera. Stop for photos at the iconic Widodaren Hill before hiking up to the smoking rim of the active Bromo Crater.
🍳 Breakfast & Refresh
09:00 AM: Return to the village for a hearty breakfast and check-out preparation.
🛣️ Transfer to Bondowoso
11:00 AM: Leave Bromo and proceed toward the Ijen highlands (Bondowoso). Optional lunch stop at a local restaurant.
🛌 Arrival in Bondowoso
02:30 PM: Check-in at your guesthouse and rest early to prepare for the midnight trek.
🚐 Midnight Departure
12:00 AM: Wake up and depart for the Ijen Crater (approx. 2-hour drive).

02:00 AM: Reach Paltuding basecamp and begin your hike through the starry night.
🔥 The Electric Blue Flame
03:00 AM: Witness the rare Blue Flame phenomenon. (Note: Visible from a safe distance of up to 500m, subject to volcanic activity and weather conditions).
💎 Summit & Sunrise
04:00 AM – 06:30 AM: Reach the summit for sunrise and a stunning view of the world’s largest acidic turquoise lake. Begin the descent back to basecamp.
⛴️ Ferry to Bali
08:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Leave Ijen for Ketapang Harbor. Board the ferry for a 1-hour crossing to Bali Island.
🚗 Scenic Drive to Ubud
12:00 PM (Bali Time): Meet your Balinese driver at Gilimanuk Harbor and begin the journey across the western coast of Bali.
🌴 Arrival in Ubud
05:00 PM: Estimated arrival at your hotel in Ubud. Trip ends.

FAQ
Yes. Please make sure the flight arrival is before 4:00 AM. If by train, 1hour before pick up time is fine.
Yes, either Surabaya or Denpasar airport, both are possible. Please make sure the flight/train departure is 2hours later than 5:00 PM (17:00), flight leave around 19:00 should be fine. IF will take train to the west like Yogyakarta, we suggest in Ketapang train station.
Yes. But you will leave it in the car while you’re doing the activity.
Currently the Bromo National Park policy is not allowing to fly drone on any point/ spot. While in Tumpak Sewu and Ijen are fine.
Tour available daily. Unless there is a closure by the local authority due to local’s event or any routine agenda with a prior notice.
Driving duration to Bondowoso from Bromo is 4 hours, vs direct to Ijen (from Bromo) can take 6 hours. It’s just to split the 6 hours driving time instead of take long driving in one go, it is the way more convenience. However sometimes if we run out of availability in Bondowoso, we will alter the overnight location to Ijen.
