is a short tour for the two different volcanoes, fit for you who has not much time for East Java. 2 Midhight starts, 1 accommodation in between, tour will end in the morning at the ketapang harbor

🚐 Midnight Pick-up (Surabaya/Malang)
23:30 (Day -1): Pick-up service begins in Surabaya.
00:30 (Day 01): Pick-up service begins in Malang.
Note: Your booking date is the sunrise date. Pick-up starts late at night the day before.
🚜 Switch to 4WD Jeep
01:30 AM – 02:00 AM: Arrive at the transit point village. Switch from the van to a 4WD Jeep to navigate the volcanic terrain of Bromo.
🌅 The Golden Sunrise witnessing
04:00 AM – 05:00 AM: Reach the sunrise viewpoint. Witness the breathtaking moment as the sun rises over the iconic Bromo caldera.
📸 Widodaren Photo Spot & Crater Trek
06:00 AM – 07:30 AM: Head down to the Sea of Sand. Enjoy a photo stop at the dramatic Widodaren Hill before hiking up to the smoking rim of the Bromo Crater.
🍳 Breakfast & Preparation
09:00 AM: Return to the village by Jeep for a well-deserved breakfast and a short rest before the long drive.
🛣️ Journey to Bondowoso
10:30 AM: Switch back to the van and begin the scenic drive toward the Ijen highland area (Bondowoso).
🏨 Guesthouse Check-in
02:30 PM: Estimated arrival and check-in at your guesthouse in Bondowoso. Enjoy a free afternoon and rest early for the Ijen trek at midnight.
🚐 Midnight Departure
12:00 AM: Wake up and prepare for the adventure. We begin our 2-hour drive from Bondowoso to the Ijen basecamp. Please be ready 15 minutes before departure.
🥾 The Ascent
02:00 AM: Arrive at Paltuding (Ijen Basecamp) and start the trek through the cool night air to reach the crater rim.
🔥 The Electric Blue Fire
03:00 AM: Explore the crater rim to witness the mystical Blue Fire phenomenon. (Subject to weather and volcanic conditions).
🌅 Summit & Sunrise
04:00 AM: Reach the summit to watch the sun rise over the world's largest acidic crater lake.
🌿 Descend from Ijen
06:30 AM: Begin the hike back down to the basecamp while enjoying the morning mountain views.
🍳 Breakfast & Refresh
08:00 AM: Enjoy your breakfast box and a short rest before we head to the coastline.
⛴️ Ketapang Harbor Crossing
10:00 AM: Arrival at Ketapang Harbor, Banyuwangi. We will provide your ferry tickets for the crossing to Bali.
🌴 Arrival in Ubud, Bali
05:00 PM (Bali Time): Estimated arrival at your hotel in Ubud. Note: Bali time is 1 hour ahead of Java. Trip ends

FAQ
Yes. Please make sure the flight arrival is before 21:00. If by train, 1hour before pick up time is fine.
Yes, either Surabaya or Denpasar airport, both are possible. Please make sure the flight/train departure is 2hours later than 5:00 PM (17:00), flight leave around 19:00 should be fine. IF will take train to the west like Yogyakarta, we suggest in Ketapang train station.
Yes. But you will leave it in the car while you’re doing the activity.
Currently the Bromo National Park policy is not allowing to fly drone on any point/ spot. While in Tumpak Sewu and Ijen are fine.
Tour available daily. Unless there is a closure by the local authority due to local’s event or any routine agenda with a prior notice.
Driving duration to Bondowoso from Bromo is 4 hours, vs direct to Ijen (from Bromo) can take 6 hours. It’s just to split the 6 hours driving time instead of take long driving in one go, it is the way more convenience. However sometimes if we run out of availability in Bondowoso, we will alter the overnight location to Ijen.
