The Magic of Madakaripura Waterfall
Located near the Bromo area, Madakaripura waterfall is often called the “Eternal Waterfall.” This is because the water flows from the cliffs even during the dry season. Legend says that the great Gajah Mada spent his final days meditating here. The atmosphere is cool, misty, and incredibly spiritual.
Trekking to Tumpak Sewu
If you love photography, Tumpak Sewu is your paradise. The trek down to the base of the falls is an adventure in itself. You will walk through small streams and bamboo ladders. However, the view from the bottom, looking up at the 120-meter curtain of water, is worth every step.
