open trip kawah ijen, Get pick up on evening at your hotel, you will spend the evening on the car for transfer to ferry harbor. Take 1 hour slow ferry crossing to Ketapang, after ferry you will meet the guide and he’ll take you to Ijen base. If you arrive earlier, you can kindly wait at the car (sleeping bag is suggested to bring if you have it).

Itinerary
06:00 PM (Bali Time) – Pick up from your hotel in South Bali (Kuta, Seminyak, or surrounding areas). Begin a 4-hour comfortable drive to West Bali.
10:00 PM – Arrival at Gilimanuk Harbor, Bali. Your ferry tickets are provided.
10:30 PM – Board the ferry for a 1-hour crossing to Java Island.
11:00 PM (Java Time) – Estimated arrival at Ketapang Port, Banyuwangi. Meet our local guide and transfer to the Ijen Basecamp. (Note: Java is 1 hour behind Bali).
12:00 AM (Midnight) – Arrival at the Ijen Basecamp (Paltuding). Short rest and preparation.
01:30 AM – Safety briefing session conducted by your professional local guide.
02:00 AM – Start the midnight hike to reach the crater rim of Mt. Ijen.
03:30 AM – Blue Fire Viewing Experience: Witness the rare electric blue flames at the crater floor. (Subject to supportive weather & volcanic activity).
04:00 AM – Move to the Sunrise Point to enjoy the breathtaking morning views over the acid lake.
06:30 AM – Begin the descent back to the Paltuding basecamp.
08:00 AM – Arrive back at the start point.
Note on Refreshments: Due to the early hour, a proper breakfast is not available. We provide a Fruit Box, Tea, and Coffee. We highly recommend preparing your own extra snacks/meals before departure.
08:30 AM – Proceed back to Ketapang Ferry Port.
10:00 AM – Board the ferry for the return journey to Bali.
12:00 PM (Bali Time) – Arrive back in Bali. Our Bali driver will be ready to take you back to the Ubud area.
05:00 PM – Estimated arrival back at your hotel in Ubud. Trip ends
